Sylvia Crunden is the author of “Please Don’t Pop My Bubble!” She is an experienced elementary teacher working in Connecticut for 18 years. She has a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. This is the first book that she is publishing but would like to write a series with these exciting characters to teach lessons in fun and exciting ways. She is devoted to teaching and wants to help as many people as possible with certain problems and social skills. She is inspired to write this book for her two nephews and the students she teaches. She is also inspired by other children’s book authors because she has been able to use their books for enjoyment and as resources to help teach students. She is hopeful this book will help parents with their children at home.
She loves spending time with her family and is extremely close to her two nephews. Sylvia has many hobbies including playing sports such as volleyball and softball. She used to drive a race car! She is a certified EMT and firefighter. She is a floral designer and loves to create arrangements for weddings.

Mary Ransom has always loved to draw! She received an Associates in Arts from Manchester Technical Community College and a Bachelors in Fine Arts from UCONN. She has been employed as a Graphic Designer and Illustrator for large companies as well as on a freelance basis. She enjoys creating in her home in the beautiful hills of Northern CT while receiving motivation from her 3 cats, 2 dogs and a supportive and very patient husband.
